Midsomer Norton RFC

This is a brief report of the recent MNRFC Annual General Meeting, held on Saturday 24th May at 1pm. Full minutes will follow at a later date.

The Captains for the 2024/25 season were elected as follows:

• First XV
  Captain: Joe Button

The meeting were informed that no Vice-Captain would be elected as the Coach and Captain would form a leadership group during pre-season. 

• Second XV
  Captain: Matthew Dennng
  Vice Captain: Joe Knight

• Third XV
  Captain: Andy Crookes
  Vice Captain: Ian Tiley

The officers of the club for the 2023/24 season were elected as follows:

• President: Ian Tiley
• Secretary: Rob Kernutt 
• Treasurer: Robin Browning

The Junior Officers were also elected at the meeting and will sit on the General Committee:

• Junior President: Andrew Townhill
• Junior Chairman: Jon Swift
• Junior Secretary: Connie Dando
• Junior Vice-Chairman: Will Stuart 

The rest of the General Committee for the 2025/26 season were elected as follows:

• Andy Button
• Alex Davis
• Matthew Denning
• Joseph Knight
• Jacob Mattick
• Andrew Parker
• Jack Rideout
• Thomas Rideout

Alan Nash would continue to head up the Disciplinary Committee, whilst Sarah Wight would continiue with the Facilities.

Alex Davis was elected Chairman of the club at the first meeting of the new Committee, which followed the AGM.

Two Junior Section roles who do not sit on the General Committee were also agreed. The Junior Fixture Secretary and the Minis Fixture Secretary will be Nial Mullen. The role of Senior Fixture Secretary would be decided at a later date.
