Midsomer Norton RFC

We are excited to welcome The Oisterwijk Oysters from the Netherlands on Good Friday (3rd April) for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon that celebrates the very best of rugby.

We will kick off with a short, and ‘proper’, Vets game (average age around 50) before a MNRFC XV face an Oysters XV at 4.45pm. Players are welcome for both games.

Then the real fun begins, as we join our guests with a Cantus - a theatrical, semi-compulsory sing-a-long under the strict and ceremonial leadership of The Bard and his Apprentices (from both side). Expect fun, games and structured absurdity. It is ritual nonsense and highly disciplined chaos.

Following this we have the fabulous Highway 75, bringing you rock classics and pop classics with a rock twist.

There’s a bbq, bouncy castles a buffet and two bars for you to hydrate so come and join in the fun.
