Midsomer Norton RFC

Midsomer Norton RFC are excited to welcome Luke Daniels as our Backs Coach for the 2025/26 season.

Luke brings MNRFC an abundance of top-level experience, having played across both the RFU Championship and Gallagher Premiership. A versatile back who covers full-back, wing, and fly-half, he first made his name at Esher before becoming a standout performer for Ealing Trailfinders.

The South African’s prolific form earned him a move to Premiership side Bristol Bears, where he gained invaluable top-flight experience before returning to Ealing to continue making a real impact. Last season Luke scored 6 tries in 22 league appearances as Clifton won National League 2 West.

With his proven skill set, leadership, and professionalism, Luke is the perfect fit to help drive Midsomer Norton RFC forward as he takes his first step into coaching. As player-coach, he’ll inspire and mentor those around him, using his Championship and Premiership pedigree to raise standards both on and off the pitch.

We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait to see the positive influence he’ll have on the club this season.

Preseason starts on Tuesday 1st July. Players of all ages abilities are welcome.
