Tom Page has announced his decision to step down as Head Coach of Midsomer Norton RFC.

"My time has come to step away from Norton Down and my role as the Head Coach of the men’s team. Norton has been my home for the past two years and will always be ‘My club’ when I talk about it. I leave with nothing but laughter, memories and friends for life.

"I want to thank everyone at the club from players and supporters to bar staff, you’ve all been amazing.

"Norton is one of those special clubs that the game needs and I’ve been fortunate to be a part of it, although I’m leaving I’m stepping away knowing the club will continue to find success and the direction it's continuing to head in is a very positive one.

"Whilst I now put all my efforts into my role with Gloucester Rugby, I’ll be cheering on the boys from the touchlines where I can, watching them continue to take the club further up the ladder"

Tom joined the club during the 2023/24 season, becoming Head Coach in January 2024. During his time in charge the club won Counties 2 Somerset, the Somerset Vase and the Papa John's Cup Counties 1 South Shield.

MNRFC would like to place on record their thanks to Tom and his Assistant Ru for their work and considerable achievements over the past two years. We wish them the best in their future endeavours, and look forward to welcoming them back to Norton Down in the near future.

The club have begun the search for Tom's successor. If you would like to apply for the position, or feel you can assist in next season's coaching structure, please email info@midsomernortonrfc.co.uk by 13th June 2025.
