Midsomer Norton RFC wishes to thank Life-Member Nigel Rowles who stepped down from his role of President at the recent AGM.
Nigel had been President of the club since 2008 and before that served as Chairman for six seasons. Throughout his decades of service Nigel has also been involved heavily in so many areas of the club - from the Junior Sections to the 'Optomists', from tours to reunions and recently was awarded the Maurice Carter Cup.
That said, Nigel will be going nowhere. he will continue on the General Committee and in the role of 'President of Past Players'/Past President. He will still be at Norton Down organising the reunions, with BBQs and much more including, of course, running the 200 Club - which you can find out more information about here
Everyone at the club thanks Nigel for his many years of service to the club, and look forward to many more years to come!
