Rugby returns to the pitches outside Norton Down this Saturday with the Korev Bath Combination 7s tournament alongside 15 other local clubs.

The club will be open from 9am with the tournament’s group stage kicking off at 10.30am.

MNRFC play the following.

Chippenham (10.30am)
Combe Down (11.50am)
Devizes (1.10pm)

Top two in each group go through to the Cup. Third place to the Plate with the tournament finishing around 5.30pm.

The club will be showing the Lions at 11am - and we will have Lions sponsors Howdens there with Lions goodies to give away as well as a special hamper.

There will be a breakfast menu on offer from the Roaming Deli as well as food in the afternoon from Nomads BBQ and Burger Bus Bristol as well as Dan’s Ice Cream.

We then have live music from 5.45pm until 11pm with the Covertronics (covers 6”s to now), The Hektiks (reggae and Ska), Billy O’Drsicoll (country) and Jon Parry (folk)

There’s also a bouncy castle for the kids and an outside bar.

Influenced by the likes of Frank Turner, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and The Dubliners, and fresh from two years in a row at Glastonbury Festival, this troubadour is well versed in giving a crowd an evening to remember with a mix of familiar covers alongside a few of his own heartfelt tunes.

Billy Driscoll 7.00-8.15
Country rock musician Billy Driscoll has the audience glued to his raw, energetic performance, bringing a raspy, but soulful voice to the stage, alongside his big acoustic guitar tone.

The Covertronics 8.30-9.45
This four-piece power pop covers band paying all your favourite tunes from every decade from the 60's to present day. This band are sure to get the party started and will have you dancing and singing the night away

Hektiks 10.00-11.00
Taking influence from classic punk groups, as well as reggae and ska greats, Hektics are one of the most exciting new bands on the British scene. After making enough noise to rattle the foundations of Bath College, they’ve now released their first EP and have started to get around venues in the city and surrounding areas, playing their original music built on a foundation of thick bass lines, punchy drums and shoutable choruses.
